Review of the pre and post harvest handling methods of apple fruit (Malus domestic)

The main objective this review to postharvest handling apple fruit with following Specific objectives: pre-harvest factors that affect quality factor causes losses fruits are harvesting, storage, packaging, transportation marketing some other pre -harvest cultivars, cultivation practices, fertilizer, irrigation, environmental factors(temperature, relative humidity atmosphere condition,) soil type. Postharvest can occur due improper transportation, processing/sorting, grading marketing. major physiological disorder (caused freezing, high temperature, mechanical damage pathological disorder. Management temperature effective tool for maintaining extending shelf life after harvest. It conclude that, all horticultural crops very perishable because their content water, soft in texture there amount loss. To overcome such problem only option properly should conduct at any stage chain reduce maintain quality.
